What size lashings do you offer?
We offer lashings to suit all normal cargo control applications. They range from 25mm to 75mm webbing widths, with 250kg to 20,000kg breaks strengths. Whatever your need we will have a lashing/strap to suit.

How are your lashings produced?
TEXSPAN lashings are manufactured in our UK factory and also sourced from our overseas manufacturing operations. All of our lashings, webbing and components are tested and comply with the current European Standard BSEN12195-2: 2001. The latest technology is used, automatic sewing machines that provide a consistent stitch pattern each time, computer controlled web cutting and inline web printing.
What is your sling quality guarantee?
All of our Texspan slings are manufactured to comply with European Standard EN1492. All slings have passed through a rigorous inspection process and are guaranteed to be fault free.

What is your lashing quality guarantee?
Over 30 years of manufacturing experience ensures the quality of the Pritchard Tyrite TEXSPAN product is second to none. All products are rigorously tested, in-line or exceeding the requirements of European Standard EN12195-2: 2001.
All products are guaranteed to have no manufacturing faults. In the unlikely event that you received a faulty product, please send a digital image and details by e-mail to returns@pritchardtyrite.co.uk, action will then be taken to investigate the problem. Any item found to be faulty would be replaced. Please also refer to our carriage and returns policy for further details.
What standards apply to cargo control products?
One specific standard applies to the manufacture of cargo control products, European standard BSEN12195-2: 2001. All our cargo control products are manufactured to comply with this new European standard where applicable.
This European standard replaced the now obsolete British Standard BS5759 1987. There are also many guidelines published regarding the safe use of lashings. You may find many of these on government body websites.
How are your lashings packed?
If you are buying in a bulk pack then these will be dispatched boxed as standard practise. If your product is a small item or a single unit then it could be dispatched in a secure poly bag or carton as is suitable. Lashings and other products are packaged in various quantities dependant on unit weight.

What material is used to make your lashings?
Cargo control products are manufactured from a variety of base materials. Within the UK and Europe, standard practise is to use either POLYESTER or POLYPROPYLENE webbing, (North America tends to favour nylon webbing). Hardware is produced from various steel grades, stainless steel, wire and cast materials are used. Further details are provided on individual product pages.
How quickly will my order be delivered?
Normal delivery is 3 - 5 days, a next day service is also available if your order is placed before noon midday. Please refer to our standard carriage and returns policy for details.
